So recently on the Facebook page other people have been saying that they got a new option on their dropdown menu of their dashboard. Previously you would see 'Alumni Only Internships" and could click on it to check your progress. Now people are starting to get specific internships listed. So it would say "Alumni Only: Ticket Fufillment" or "Alumni Only: Guest Correspondence" and you can then check your status for that specific internship.

Today I log onto the dashboard and see that I have a new drop down for GUEST RELATIONS!!!

I am beyond excited! I really hope this is good news. I am thinking it must mean they are seriously considering me for this role, if they went to the trouble to create a specific drop down for it. I don't want to get my hopes up, because I don't want to be disapointed but it is so hard not to be hopeful and excited!

Alumni Only is my only internships left in Progress. I have gone NLIC for all my others. I'm okay with that though, because as I said before, I know that they looked at my materials for the graphic design ones and decided I was not a good fit. I know there are people out there with a much higher skill level than I have.

Meanwhile Guest Relations has always been my dream and my #1 from the start! I really hope Disney thinks I'm right for this role!

  1. Hi Ashley! I just got my e mail from the Disney College Program and I got the boot. I called Disney and asked why! They told me I need to do some life guarding, do some tutoring kids and maybe volunteer at a local charity. It kind of &$:63"&) me off. I am a certified rescue diver with the uscg, I volunteer at a major children hospital and I work part time at a daycare with 200 children. This is my third time applying for this program. Any advise I can get for maybe next time? I need your help! I am never giving up and I would like a alumni advise. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

    1. Ashley, do you have any actual job experience? How did your phone interview go? Feel free to email me at I am a CP alumni and Professional Intern alumni. If you need help do not hesitate to ask.

  2. Kate! Congrats! I am excited for you! Keep me updated on the progress.
